An IWC watch can be traced to their original owners. Also at headquarters is the "Pharmacy" where IWC maintains, cataloged and rated for a minimum of 30 years an inventory of the parts of their collections of watches more features.
In one corner is devoted the "altar", composed of senior cabinet with many drawers containing parts unique to the former IWC watches, some of which date from 1886. The most famous IWC watch the clock "Portuguese", commissioned in 1930 by two Portuguese businessmen.
IWC's challenge was to manufacture a wristwatch with stainless steel box that had all the qualities of a marine chronometer. Currently, the clock "Portuguese" is one of the cornerstones of the collection, available with Flyback chronograph, and available in rose gold, steel and platinum. The first watch IWC "Portuguese" automatic was launched in 1996. But the "Portuguese" was not the only watch that left the IWC workshops.
