1847: At age 28, Louis-Francois Cartier House Picard continues as an employee, the jewelry shop located at 31 rue Montorgueil in Paris before opening his own shop for private clients, in 1853, at 9 rue Neuve - des-Petits-Champs between the Bourse and the Palais Royal. 1859: Cartier is installed in 9 boulevard des Italiens, the Empress Eugenie will be your customer.
